Trend Windows & Doors and Smoke Control has announced the Xtreme range of bushfire window and door products, combined with Windowshield Fire Curtains, have been assessed to comply to the highest level (BAL FZ) in the new bushfire construction standards.

The new system – Xtreme Flame Zone windows and doors – has been assessed by CSIRO to pass the test.

The system combines Trend’s CSIRO tested BAL 40 Xtreme Window and Door system with Pyro-Protec seals and glazing systems. It also combines standard 5 mm or 6 mm toughened glass integrated with the Smoke Control CSIRO-tested Windowshield Fire Curtain.
